The stemco was made to keep grit out, like a dump truck in a gravel bank. I didn't see one for your application here

People look at the "breather" and assume it works. Best to remove it and blow out the entire mess to make sure it's clear.

It only takes a blob of grease or some dirt in the tube to let enough pressure build up and push gear oil out of the seal.

It's also important to make sure gear oil is not over filled.

"Running out the hole" can be grossly over-filled on some vehicles, especially those that specify measuring the oil with a piece of wire to make sure it's an inch or so BELOW the opening. Not all differentials have the same recommended oil levels and if overfilled the oil sitting on a seal in one side will definitely leak.

Definitely check the breather. My TV had a breather that consisted of a fitting with a cap that was supposed to release pressure as the differential heated up. First seal failure and I took out the "inverted cap" vent. Installed a brass fitting with hose barb on it, added some fuel tank vent hose and ran the open end up into the frame where it would be away from direct dirt and water spray. No more seal issues although other owners of the same vehicle have been complaining for years about lousy seals.

VENT the axle housing and don't rely on any inverted cap type vents.

I presume the shop checked it too, they paid for the seals and sleeves and the work the last time. Would it be because they are not competent? They change seals on big trucks, they would know how to do it by now.

What gets me is the fact that it allways leak on both side, I could see that one side is allways leaking if it would be the runout or wear on one shaft, but both wheel?

It was not leakin prior to the first replacement of the seals one year ago. The last seal that was installed is the one I got from Spicer. It is a W20HH100. On the seal it says it is a CR35000.

What would be the part number for a unitized seal?

Depends on the SppediSleeve. Every one I've ever installed, which isn't many but more than a few, were drive on/press fit type and required no sealant.

I do like the Stemco type, for sure, and at this point after checking for axle run out I'd be doing that next.

The other solution is to install a Stemco seal with a wear ring or one with a press on inner surface that does not spin on the spindle, it spins inside the seal assembly.

After five times it is not the seals and the only thing left is the vent. Replace everything related to it even drilling out the nipple to a larger ID. Make sure where the nipple screws into the housing is not blocked.

At this point, assuming the vent really is good, you need to check for axle run out. Seals are a pretty basic, simple deal, you shouldn't be having this many issue, obviously.
