I have to ask where in Texas.
Our first TT had a single unducted AC - and it was a 26BH, which meant it was 30 ft ball to bumper.
It would make the TT livable in 100-105 degree times in north and central Texas as long as there was some shade on the trailer. If no shade - it took a couple fans to keep us from sweating all the time. That silver cell foam type stuff from Home Depot on the sunny side windows really helped.
However, along the Gulf coast or in southeast Texas - Beaumont to Livingston to Victoria - the AC was completely unable to keep the humidity down and the trailer cool.
Worst for us though was that the AC was controlled by a switch in the unit. The compressor would cycle off as the temp got cool enough - but the fan would stay running. All the time. We could not talk in the rig, watch TV and it was a bit loud for trying to sleep - though we got tired enough eventually.
Replacing the roof vent with a second AC - likely too much work and too expensive to be useful. And a lot of CG would be unhappy with a second AC running directly from the 20Amp plug.
One requirement we insisted upon for our new TT was 50 Amp service with two ducted ACs. Based upon our experiences with summer Texas heat and coastal humidity.
I would not recommend any rig with less in much of Texas.
(Though we did spend last summer in the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend NP - at 5,400 ft elevation and only slept three nights with the AC running. The rest of May, June and July - we slept with the windows open.)
