- 45RicochetExplorerNot sure if anybody is reading the link, but this is the truck with a 2500 Ram power train.... plus the super charger.
I bought a 1981 GMC dually 3+3 ( never did understand that 3 thing) new back in well 1981 and they seemed fairly new for the southern Cali area. I never saw a D200 crew cab to this day, or any other brand prior to 1980. Guess I missed the military and forestry era's. Well that and maybe they didn't sell to well in LA area. I still remember the 7MPG and twin saddle tanks in that girl :E
Owned it 20 years though but she started getting expensive. Thanks for the photo's guys. - colliehaulerExplorer III

For Dodge, 1963 for sure. Ford, I can verify '69. Would like to see a photo of a '65-'66 Ford crew cab. Definitely '73 for GM. - oldmattbExplorerThere is a 1950s Chevrolet Apache truck in Atlanta, crew cab and dually, that looks stock. I REALLY doubt that it is, but what a gorgeous truck.
Matt B - Me_AgainExplorer IIIWe had a USCG International Harvester crew cab pickup in 1966 in Thailand with right hand drive. Also a right hand drive International Travelall and a right hand drive International Harvester 2.5T truck. I was really skinny back then. Our 1.5T Dodge with left hand drive. I was part of the SE Asia electronic war. Chris
Crew cab pickup looked like this travelall from the front.
I took this picture from the top of the 625' Loran C tower during construction summer of 1966. - K_CharlesExplorerFord crew cab came in '57

The old binder was first. In my home town the Air Force used the Dodge crew cab to take the crews to the Nuclear silos strategically placed around the town.
International Harvester introduced the first crew cab in 1957. It had 3 doors; the 4th door was added in 1961.
Dodge in 1963.
I think the forest service used a lot of the early crew cabs as well. - downtheroadExplorerInternational Harvester introduced the first crew cab in 1957. It had 3 doors; the 4th door was added in 1961.
Dodge in 1963. - The_TexanExplorerThe military had Dodge crew cabs in the 60's and Ford crew cabs a couple years later.
- gboppExplorerAccording to Wikipedia, Dodge introduced the crew cab in 1963, Ford in 65 and GM in 73.
