- wolfe10ExplorerWith your coach/air bag suspension, VERIFY RIDE HEIGHT!
That very short driveshaft is sensitive to out of spec ride height.
Your chassis maker can provide you with the specs.
Be sure to have jack stands under it before checking/changing ride height-- you don't want to drop the coach on you! - ScottGNomadIt can be seating a little and go on for many years. If it doesn't drip and if you look at it and it's dirty, it's probably fine. If it's clean and wet then it's time to replace it.
- olfarmerExplorer IIIf no puddles when level and you don't have to add fluid I would just keep an eye on it.
- SnomasExplorerThanks for all the oopinions. There is no fluid on the ground. I did have the MH parked on a hill (5 degrees) and did get some trans fluid on the ground after prolonged storage but no leakage on the ground when sitting level! Maybe this is what the mechanic is referring t.

I've seen tractor trailers go many, many, thousands of miles like that. Just keep a eye on the level of the fluid.
Can anyone tell me if this is serious and if it should be fixed right away? - BuckBarkerExplorerIs this a trusted mechanic? If not then I would keep an eye on it and if it's actually leaking. Perhaps your guy is trying to pull a fast one on you.
- MountainAir05Explorer IIIf the fluid level has not drop, clean and watch. Could have been sprayed so that the seal would look like it needed replaced. Just saying.
