Let us know when you actually try one . From what I've read all the Vision wheels use the same hub bore whether for GM , Dodge or Ford , which all have different hub sizes . It could be that they are sized for Fords which have the largest hub .

I pulled one off and measured both the stock wheel the Vision's and the hub and found that there is less than .011" difference and they fit fairly tight against the hub,of coarse over time with rust and/or corrosion they may become difficult to get off like the stock ones can get. They do have different bore hole dia. for Dodge and GM but I don't know the hub sizes of these. Just because the lugs are conical does not make them lug centric only so you can't always go by that you have to measure them. Anyway this is what I have com up with on my research.

There's a flaw in the logic of that article, it mentions how hub centric wheels apply the load to the hub instead of the lugs yet then goes on to say that the cheap plastic hub centric rings are required for wheels that have a larger center bore. There's several articles about hub centric rings and that their only purpose is to align the wheel on center for mounting and once the lugs are torqued the rings job is done. Makes sense as how could a $10 pair of plastic rings hold the load of a car never mind a truck with a heavy camper?

My old '97 light duty F250 had hub centric wheels, something new to me at the time. A square cut o-ring filled the small gap between wheel and hub. When one of them slipped and got mashed behind the wheel, I went to the dealer for spares. No spares, they said to take them off. Later I saw the Service Bulletin that said the same. Guess absolute center isn't that important. Had to change out the lug nuts due to a recall also.

The Vision Type 81 SRW wheels are lug centric, not sure what the guy at Vision was thinking.

As others have stated if the wheel has a conical hole then they are lug centric even if the bore is close... which it is on the Ford's.

You don't use the Ford lugs Vision will supply you with the ones you need.
I just got a message back from Vision and the wheels are hub centric.
For a Ford 2005 F-350 (and many other years) as explained to me by a Ford engineer(retired)it is important to have this,when the truck was designed it was part of what they used to figure the load handling.
You want the hub to hold the weight not the lugs as was used in the past.

Even if rings were added, don't you still have the problem with the flat Ford lug nuts seating properly against the rim? Can't see what purpose the rings would serve.
