- navegatorExplorerBriansue tomorrow morning I will call my brother in law and ask that he finds out if there are areas where this is excluded, I just did not want to try to figure out what days I am allowed to travel and what days not.
So tomorrow I will post the answer that I receive from the horses mouth, he is the architect that constructed the Bolsa de Valores on Avenida Reforma, black triangular building, he travells quite a lot by car so he is aware of all those rules.
navegator - briansueExplorerNavegator - not to be disagreeable but the rules I have read and the maps I have seen about the restricted zone does not include the entire state of Mexico - and the last I heard Teotihuacan is not in the zone. I got it from Mina who owns the RV park in Teotihuacan and assures us that they are not in the zone. The website I provided clearly shows a map with Teotihuacan outside the zone. There may have been a very recent change but I have not heard of it. Are there any other maps showing the zone? Does any website or other source provide clear and concise boundaries of the restricted zone? Anyone know?
- navegatorExplorerTo briansue from navegator, Teotihuacan is in the State of Mexico, and is subject to the Hoy no Circula regulations, that is why we have personal plates that finish with the letter A, that limits our travels only on Friday and the last Saturday should they be 30 or 31.
I have family that lives and works in Mexico city and have been there on a number of timews since the programs where started. It is best to err on the side of caution rather than having a hassle with the "Mordelones" Transit Police.
navegator - briansueExplorerI believe the PASE is only available to those living in the Mexican states mentioned. When they refer to foreign plates they are not talking about foreign countries - they are talking about states in Mexico other than DF or Mexico. I do not believe US or Canada are eligible. If you going to be in Teotihuacan you are not in the zone so no worries. Mina told us years ago Teotihuacan is not in the zone and it appears that is still true.
- briansueExplorerThe following Geo-Mexico website has more info about Hoy no Circula including a map showing the area of restrictions. Arco Norte and Teotihuacan are not in the area. Plates ending in a letter are restricted the same as 9 – 0 plates.

Here is another quick look at Hoy no Circula. Other websites can be found.

navegator - janechucknicodeExplorerPROGRAM INFORMATION CIRCULATION AND GO TODAY NO TOURIST FOR EXEMPTION
In order to provide a means for citizens with foreign vehicles and
of states of the Mexican Republic, other than the State of Mexico and the Federal District,
for their vehicles circulating in the Metropolitan Area of Mexico exempted from the
restrictions on movement of vehicles sets the Hoy No Circula program, the
Government of the Federal District and the State of Mexico available to them Pass
Tourist.
This pass allows the vehicle that carries it, waive the restriction of movement imposed
by Hoy No Circula program in the Federal District and the State of Mexico, and may be
obtained once every six months for a period of 14 days or twice a semester
for a period of seven days each.
Wow and this is just a part. Good luck
O Buena surete - navegatorExplorerAcording to the oficial site there is no pase turistico "tourist pass" all vehicles are subject to the rules, that is why my RV and my toad have a personalized plate that both end on the same letter, "A" so I can not drive on Fridays nor the last Saturday should it be 30 or 31.
I do not care to drive in Mexico's Citys congested traffic on a Friday, so we are ok with the set up, maybe you have time to get personal plates with same letters and not drive on Fridays.

I've tried a lot of those translation programs an found them sadly lacking. But thanks for the link, I'll give it a shot. - darsbenExplorer IIdid you run itthrough google translate or use chrome?
