- Bird_FreakExplorer IIDid anyone read that his valves are working? He just wants to be ready to fix a problem that he does not have. I can think of lots of other things to worry about myself.
- FOREVER_FREEExplorerAre your valves in the open? If so do as I did and crawl under the trailer and try to move it by hand. Just make sure your drain hose is hooked up and ready to flow into the sewer drain. While under there you can see if the cable is broken or maybe just came loose. It's held onto the valve by an allen head set screw. Good luck to you and happy RV'ing.

Have you been putting something in your tank to control orders? I had the sme problem and I'm looking for a cause.
Now what might help, loosen the 4 screws holding the valve in place. Loosen the two farthest from the valve stem first then try to open your valve. And you should probably get a hand valve for the end of your pipe. It goes on in place of the cap. Don't cost much. If you try that let me know the out come.
If that works with the screws still loose and the valve closed pour some vegetable oil in and let set some time. If the valve seems to loosen up repeat several more times. When the valve is working snug the 4 screws back up. Dont get down on them. Try again. You might be good to go.
.............I'm going to try the vege oil , I've just got to locate a source for a 5 gallon bucket ! My valves have a solid rod and a plastic handle to pullout and push back in . I still haven't figured out how to remove the metal panel that completely hides the valves and plumbing , but my dump valves are still working OK ! I need to determine a "FIX" before the black tank valve locks up . , jf - bigcitypopoExplorer

You might call one of the PORTA SANS cos they pump out the portable laves, it might work for you?
my thought exactly... call the right people geared for the right job.... - fishingbob61ExplorerYou might call one of the PORTA SANS cos they pump out the portable laves, it might work for you?
- DtaylorExplorerTo create lift, you are going to need a rotary vein or an eccentric type pump. Even those have to be primed to create a vacuum and get the flow started.

One with drain hole, so you can run hose from that to your sewer connection.
- FOREVER_FREEExplorerJust replaced the broken cable on our black tank valve I think it gets more stress placed on it due to the contents of the tank. Was a really easy fix. Took about 10 minutes. Best wishes to you and happy RV'ing. :)
- doughereExplorerA macerator is not designed to "lift", I don't know of anything in the few hundred dollar range that would vacuum this out.
If it ever actually happens, pay the honey-wagon, and then fix it.
