I understand you you can spend the night inside the gates at the Victoria Bkack Ball COHO ferry terminal. Has anyone done one this and how does it work?

Yes we have stayed there a few times. No problems, and as for "is it safe", even with all the rubby-dubbs here, it's still very safe.
Sometimes I sit and think deep thoughts. other times, I just sit!

It is behind a wire mesh fence and it's Victoria..of course it's safe. And it's right in the quiet area of the harbour. The most noise you will here will be from float planes and choppers, and they are out of service after dark.

I did that about 20 years ago. It was noisy. Busy. Imagine it isn't much better now with the increased numbers of homeless people in the downtown area of Victoria.

I need to clarify my original post. I talked to the Black Ball Ferry Line and they say you can spend the night inside the terminal gated at the Victoria terminal if you are inside the gates after the last Ferry sales at 7:30pm and before 8:30pm.

My question is has anyone spent the night inside the gates and what is it like? Is it noisy and is it safe?

I'd call the BlackBall Lines and ask them.

I haven't ridden the ferry regularly in years (I used to ride it weekly), back then the answer on Port Angles was nothing overnight. They did allow parking (no slides) at Victoria, but not PA

There is an RV park very nearby (Peabody Creek)

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.
