Monday, March 9 in Mexico is Un Dia Sin Mujeres.
It is a nationwide strike by women and their supporters protesting the increasing number of crimes against women and feminicides.
Women are being encouraged not to go to work, girls not to go to school, not to buy anything, sell anything, pay anything, be on the streets or in social situations.
We have no idea what impact this strike is going to have. We did our normal town shopping today instead of Monday, to both avoid any possible misunderstandings and/or confrontations.
Monday we will do our normal things, starting with our 3 hours on the beach with our dogs, paddling our SUP's and swimming. We don't plan to much else other than sit on the beach.
