Have the salmon arrived?

Not in large quantity, but enough to get a few bears out to have some snacks.

The ranger told us that yesterday quite a few fish were consumed, as three or for bears and a few cubs, had worked them over pretty good. We got to the viewing walkway around 3:00PM (Best viewing is reported to be 6:00 up to maybe 10:00AM, then from say 5:30-8:00PM.).

We saw probably a count of between 35-45 of them over perhaps a total two hours over two different days. Good size ones, and laying eggs for all to see.

Ranger said another 6-10 days from now, things would start really picking up. (I think he meant bears and fish, but, he could have meant us two footed people:)!)
