Truck pulling Trailer

We will be driving a Guerrero plated pick up with a camper shell back to Mexico in the spring. We will probably be towing a small enclosed trailer.

Does it matter what plates we have on the trailer? US or Mexico? If US, do we have to stop and get a permit of any kind?

It's the trailer we are questioning.

IF the trailer has US plates, does it need a permit?

We expect to be gone through thoroughly, and are prepared.

If the Pickup is registered and plated in Guerrero,why would you not have the correct plate on it ?
I would think that you will be pulled over for inspections of the Cargo in both the truck and the trailer!

Probably not. The Republc of Mexico makes the decision....sets the rules. Follow their rules.
