We are in Rincon de Guayabitos and are planning to drive to Merida for Christmas. Can anyone suggest a fairly easy route?

Then to Puebla

I like to veer away at Tlaxcala, through Cd Sahagun, Pachuca, then on to San Juan del Rio. Keeps me the Hell away from Cd Mexico and the state. Going back to the coast? Take Mex 15-D. Going north? Stay on 57-D
