What a way to bring back memories. Our Boy Scout Troop went to Yellowstone in 1970 and rode snowmobiles into the park in January. One of our Scoutmasters had moved up there the year before, so we slept on the floor of his church. Like in the video, it was snowy and cold when we arrived that night. Unlike the video, we were not dancing and partying into the night!
We rode out of West Yellowstone and I remember it was -20 degrees that morning. Also, there were few people up there at all - after all this was almost 50 years ago! I remember stopping at a bathroom somewhere around Madison Junction and going in there, not to use it but to warm up! Rode into the Old Faithful area and then returned.
Like wow! I hadn't thought about this for a while. Thanks for posting.
