Anyone know of a site in Pensacola that might still have an opening? We brought the 5th wheel home unexpectedly from the lake and thought we'd try to take my niece to see her boyfriend who is stationed there before he gets shipped further off in Sept. We didn't realize he off this weekend and everyone else is down there as well.I thought surely we could find a place to camp!We can go later in teh month but this is my last 4 day vacation before he leaves. ( I realize it must be everyone else's as well)

yes, we tried that first.Any other weekend there is no problem. They are all booked except for first come first serve. We're trying to figure out how to do that. I will look again at what you suggested. Thanks......
Have you tried seeing if the boyfriend can sponsor you on one of the military campgrounds in the area? Take a look at www.militarycampgrounds.us for more information. You could try call the phone numbers listed on the website for each facility to ask if they allow civilian campers with a military sponsor staying with you.
