Looking for reviews of wilderness oaks rv, Texas.

How is the cleanliness, showers, grounds, people? Is there security and is security needed? How is value for costs? What is typical electric costs? Looking at Feb/Mar '14.

How is fishing on Piers, what piers? Friendliness of staff and local residents?

Any other information you may have. I can't find a review online.

Thank you

Found it name changed was: Rockport 35 RV Park Resort

Would still appreciate info.

Thanks

We have been using our electric heater in am and early pm. Had about a week to ten days off coldness, but temps are going to the 60-70 during the day and high 40's and 50's at night.

Forgot to ask in PM what temps are and if furnace is needed or just an electric space heater at night?

Thanks

No Security that I'm aware of and none needed as far as I know.
Local residents were very friendly back then and assume the same today.
No fishing pier on the property. Salt water fishing pier is approximately 2 miles from the park. I believe they charge $2 per pole. Plenty of places to wade if in to that.
Are you going to heat with propane or electric? If electric then a wild guess will be around a $100 per month for Feb and maybe half that for Mar.
I don't know what kind of condition the showers/bathroom are in now but back in 2004 they were probably the best that we had ever had.
I've been to all 50 States but my RV hasn't.

Most people did not like the lady that ran Rockport 35. 3/4 of her sites stood empty. She wasn't a people's person. We stayed there in 2004 on our first trip to Rockport and never went back.

X2 recently bought former Rockport 35 RV park
Very nice club house, large indoor swimming pool.
Sites are very close together and not suitable for longer lengths. Park is outdated. Understand though that they have plans to increase lengths.
Park was just sold in the past 2 - 3 weeks.
