HOW TO: Thermostat relocation

Here's a project I did recently to move the thermostat to a more logical location in my RV. I used t-stat wire from Home Depot to lengthen the original wire and route it to my new location

I few months after relocating the thermostat,

I replaced it with a Bluetooth T-stat

I hate the location of my thermostat too. Without having something like that plumbing access panel, I'm not sure I have an option to move it though.

For the life of me I can't understand or believe why the manufacturer located the stat direct in line with a register. Goof Grief.

#1 rule for a thermostat location....stick built or RV.
