Hello all. I have a question. In the past when I've had the half ton hooked up to the 5th everything was level. I just upgraded to an 2015 f350 and hooked up the trailer to bring it home from the lake campground. It towed awesome but it appears to sit a bit higher on the front end. Is this a concern?

Thanks guys. We have it home and un hooked at the moment to clean before over to the storage yard. Im sorta new to these types of adjustments. I will have it hooked up in the next day or two and will snap a few pics to show what I'm dealing with. I could be just worried about nothing.

Thanks again

Hi,

Yes do make sure that there would be space for a can of pop between the top of the bed and bottom of the hitch parts on the trailer! The 4.5" part, not laying the can on it's side.

If your hitch is a little to high, you can lower it about 1" at a time. Same with the pin box, it can be moved too. Your pick.

You need two things.

1st, clearance from the top of the pickup box to the bottom of the fiver.

Some say it is so many inches, other say the length of a can of pop.

2nd, get it as level as possible without sacrificing # 1.

You may have either hitch or adjustments in how the pinbox itself is fastened to the fiver to accomplish this movement towards more level towing.

Other than that, no big concerns.
