Dutchman Grand Junction vs DRV Mobile Suitea

Could I get some opinions on these two. Would appreciate owners thoughts. Similar price, layout and options. Both models in the 2010 time frame. Looking to full time live for about 5 yrs in VA. Thanks.

DRV makes a 32' model.

Simply compare the frames. Mine on the assembly line. Two 2x6 and one 2x3 tubes stacked and welded to make a 15" tall boxed frame.

We left NW WA 1/1/15 to travel to Rolling Retreats in Elk City, OK to order our current DRV. Along the way we heard that Thor just purchased DRV. We decided it would not make any difference and proceeded with the order.

Thanks. From just observation the Grand Junction looks ok. Its been well maintained. But i can tell the materials are a bit better in the DRV.

I believe it was early 2016, either then or in 2015. Sorry I just can't remember exactly when. Ours was built before the buy out though. :B

Ditto DRV especially since you're looking at model years well before they were bought out by Thor/Heartland.

It's been a LONG time, but our first RV was a Dutchman. Anytime my wife talks about it, to this day she calls it "the POS Dutchman". We'd never buy another.

I own a 2016 39TKSB3 DRV. Ordered it new from Rolling Retreats with many upgrades. We full time since new. Certainly not perfect but it really is a high end RV.

No contest - DRV. Better built, better for fulltiming, but heavy.
