Leland pin box 7900

I have a 1991 Jayco designer fifth wheel camper with the 7900 pin box. I’m towing it with short need F250 currently and need more distance from the cab. I’ve read about the slider hitches but you slide it back toward the cab when traveling and I don’t want that. I’ve read the 7910 pin box would give 10 inches of additional space as would the RV5 extension from Pop Up Industries. I’ve read older forums discussing this topic but none say what their solution was. I’m awaiting a response from Lippert Chassis. Thank you in advance for any information anyone has.

I have seen that post but there was another saying that the 7910 added stress to the frame and it would need additional support welded in. I appreciate the lead and will see what I can find. Thank you.

Quote from Etrailer :

"According to my contact at Reese the Leland 7900 pin box has the same measurements as the 7910. Which means that if you are looking for a pin box replacement for additional turning clearance the best choice is a Sidewinder pin box part # ST400-5AS16K. This moves the pivot point back for the trailer 22-1/2 inches which will allow a short bed truck to make tight turns without needing a slider hitch."
