So, my wife and I are looking toe make a purchase of either a Class A or 5ver in 2023 to 2024 after my retirement. I have a list of Class A's to look for, now I am looking for a list of 5vers to look for.
Something like the title says. Although, I do not want a huge truck truck to pull it with. I have a Dually F350 and so not want to look at upgrading to the F550.
Any recommendations?

Plus the OP has an older F350 which will also be a limiting factor I what they can haul, unless they plan to upgrade the TV prior to the RV purchase.
Really too little info to really give good answers, only our opinions and guesses.

I really would not put Cardinal and Vilano in the same group as the others listed. It also depends on how old you want to consider. Going back a few years and some really great 5ers, look at Hitchhiker Champagne, Excel, Teton, King of the Road, Carriage, and Newmar 5ers.

We have had both class A and 5ers and for full time living, the 5er will serve you better, especially if you spend weeks in one area. A really big advantage to the 5er is if you have powertrain issues, you still have a place to live while the truck is in the shop. With a motorhome, the house goes in the shop as well. Also, with a typical Ford, Ram, or Chevy, you can get them services pretty much anywhere and the cost of service is much less than a diesel pusher class A.

Ken,

All of those names I listed were off the top of my head, without knowing the budget of the OP, we will not truly know ,,, Our definition of High Ends does not fit all, hence tossing in other names into the hat..

Goma be a tough find in your area but add Alpenlite to your hunt list. Specifically the 2000 to 2005 models. WRV produced their best during those years. The quality started with the frames, in house not Lippert built. There was nothing light about an Alpenlite.

We had an Excel for 7 years and never had an issue with it other than a few components like the water pump, etc. It had a fully boxed frame and all hydraulic operated slides. Heating and cooling it was never an issue.

Like you, I have F350 but NO WAY will I go back to pulling a 5er. Also, it’s going to be hard to find a LUX 5er compared to a LUX DP.

In order to make good recommendations, it would be helpful if you stated your budget...

Perhaps a GOOD used DRV Elite Suites? Redwood? Vilano? Luxe? New Horizons? Cardinal? Riverstone Legacy ?
