need your sage advice on fifth wheel

Hello everyone at RV.net. Such a wealth of information out there of those who have been there and done that. Need your input good or bad.

I have owned a awesome 1985 Holiday Rambler Imperial 33 foot for over 15 years now and now my needs have changed to where I am looking at getting a fifth wheel. After much searching and deleting possible contenders it is coming down to a few accommodating models.

I need your wise experience with the following model.

Crossroads RV Sunset trail reserve fifth wheel 26RB 2012-2015 model years.

Any input would be appreciated

I hate winter, its April and we have to still plug in the car to go to work. -20c in April is just wrong.

That is why I left Edmonton after almost 25 years, couldn't take the cold any longer. As with any preowned unit look for signs of misuse and abuse paying particular attention to any evidence of structural damage or leaks. Make sure call systems work. Carefully inspect the suspension and brakes as well as tire date codes on an older unit. That is a very nice model as long as it has been well cared for.
