I have a 2015 Montana 3711fl I'm working in Minnesota right now it got to 25 below the other night. I have got everything working except the shower, I have running water at the toilet and the sink in the bathroom. I took the faucet off of the shower and put a hair dryer blowing down behind over night to get it to thaw out to no avail. Trying to find the access panel to get to the lines underneath where it may be froze. Any help would be appreciated.
It is not THAT cold here but well below freezing and But Even though I have a heated underbelly I still run a small Ceramic heater in the Basement 24/7 and never have any problems and mine is a 2015 Monty and of course I have a Heated hose and at night I have the Furnace turned to about 65 degrees while sleeping But heck man at 25+ below that is pretty hard core temps and no matter what ya do a line still might freeze somewhere
Hi there I am new here however I have been dealing with frozen water lines for the last 5 days here in IL we are having -15 to -25 wind chills. I am in a 2011 jayco eagle fifth wheel. After many phone calls and no one being able to tell me where the water lines were a guy in park came down went under the large storage area nearest the front doog took wall panel off and wah lah there they are! Now having said that and having such cold weather here even with bales of straw underneath I am still freezing up I had to remove the second larger wall to follow the lines that is where they are. Thawing them out again with a heater under there. I woke up at three am to have only hot water. As of now I have water running in toilet and kitchen sink seems both hot and cold but not in bathroom sink or shower. I am in a campground and running off city fixtures and have a heated hose. I was told that if you use hot water you must let the hot water drip at that location as well as the cold water drip from your faucets. I did this last night however the cold may not have been on all the way or its just so dang cold they forze anyway...hope this helps someone!!!
