To winterize or not?

I just recently purchased a 2012 Flagstaff fifth wheel that has the enclosed under belly and heated tanks. It also has a heat vent in the storage under the neck. We just took it out for our first trip this past weekend and plan to go again during Thanksgiving. The weather is calling for a low of 20 this week for two nights. I was wondering if I left the furnace running the two nights if it would keep the lines safe. It also has an outside shower on it. The last camper I had was a Jayco and it did I not have all these features. I would have winterized it without a doubt. I was just wondering if any could shed some light on their past experiences..

Thanks for the replies. I should have been more clear in my original post. I plan to winterize the unit after our trip in two weeks. We are experiencing an "artic blast" for two days here in TN. We typically do not experience this type weather until January/February. I have already winterized my horse trailer LQ for the year. Ultimately I would only be looking at the temps for two nights. After that they are calling for the temps to jump back up to the 60s. I was just questioning if the all the extra heaters and insulation would keep me protected those two nights.

It really takes little time to winterize and cost little. And little time to put it back in service. My wife or I do it several times a winter. We drain the tankes and blow the water lines, add some antifreeze to the holding tanks several times a year or do the whole job.
I once held off and after replacing some lines both water and drain after they thawed while parked at Disney World I decided the heck with it and just made up a check off list to put it into service and take it out. Lots less work than redoing the plumbing.
We feel the only way to do the job is to follow a check off list so you never forget any thing. However many of out friends just keep their rigs hooked up and heat ect on all winter saving them the few min of winterizing. I always seem to find other things to do with the money I save winterizing.

What everyone said is correct..... What you said is correct also but leaving the furnace running all night will cost more than a couple gallons of pink stuff. Mines getting winterized this week and we've only dipped a little below freezing. When I start seeing the forecast in the 20's overnight I feel much better knowing it's winterized.

at a minimum I would at least blow out the lines. that cost $2.34 fror the fitting at walmart.

for the trailer lines to freeze, it would need sustained cold with the heat off. I've camped in colder temps, the trailer heater kept everything working fine.

We had 3 nights below 23 before our last trip. I didnt do anything. It warmed up in the 50's during the day so I wasnt worried.
