water pump keeps running

After shutting the faucet off pump keeps running. If I turn the faucet on and off real quick, it stops. Happens for toilet as well.
We are dry camping, and battery are full, as is the water tank.

I ran a test, I hooked up my generator and tried it and the pump will shut off. Un plug pump keeps running.

There's an adjustment for that on the head of the pump. I don't see any need to quote your entire post.
