What size truck?

I recently bought a King of the Road 36ft 5th wheel. It is a triple axle, and weighs about 13K.

What size truck should I realistically be looking at getting to pull it?

3500/F-350. Pick the one that seems to have the best interior layout for your taste. (Diesel would be best, but not required).

Assuming your 13K weight number is a dry weight. The newest round of 350/3500 SRW will handle it if you watch your pin weight. If you buy a newer dually, then you will not have to worry about it.

Are you sure on that weight is the big questions. These were big heavy trailers that needed three axles.

Make a pot of coffee, go to the Tow Vehicles forum and start reading. There is lots of information about matching fifth wheels and trucks.
