have a 12 v 912 bulb under the oven vent which is not very bright. i have a left over LED light which is a 921 but the base seems the same. it fits in the 912 fixture and lights up when the switch is on.
is there any problem with leaving the LED bulb (921) in the 912 bulb fixture?
thanks

GOOGLE says this about the 912 and 921 bulbs...

COMPARE 912 and 921 BULBS SPECS

This shows the 921 and after you see its specs then select the 912 bulb from the selection for comparison...

You will want to compare the wattage and current draw of each bulb as compared to the specs of the LED 921 bulb you have.

It shouldn't be a problem. The 912 incandescent bulbs are 12.5W, the 921's 18W (and hence brighter). The LED replacement is almost certainly a lower wattage than either incandescent bulb, unless it's approaching floodlight brightness, so would run cooler than the original bulb and not be any sort of a hazard.

Possibly there might be difficulties eventually due to steam and heat from the stovetop causing the LED light to fail, but that's unrelated to the bulb model number.
