Hi, we have a 2002 Winnebago Minnie, Model is WF329B. I am trying to determine if there is a small solar panel trickle charging my house batteries. I have looked at the roof from a ladder but have not actually gotten on top yet. I don't want to buy a panel unless I need one or can use one. We mostly camp with power and have a generator. My RV has a charge controller and there is 2.17 V at the solar panel wire connections where there are 2 wires connected. Thanks for any advice/help.

2.17V? There's either a crappy, worn out panel up there, or your wiring to the source of voltage is worn out emmensely.

Sometimes a small solar panel is mounted to the top of the air conditioner. However, the 2.17 volt reading wouldn't charge any RV battery.
