I have a 2002 Winnebago Journey32T. The techs working on the vehicle recommend changing out the current airbags (they are Firestone). The parts people have been able to locate replacement bags for the front axle. They have not been able to locate replacements for the rear, drive axle. Firestone has said they do not have a replacement for the rear bags that are on this vehicle. Does anyone have a recommendation for a brand and a supplier in the Spokane area of Washington or in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana that could be used as the replacement.
I appreciate any suggestions..

Hi,
I ran into the same problem on the rear air bags. I went with sumo springs instead.
My ride is a 28 foot Class C, 256 watts solar, 556 amp-hours of Telcom jars, 3000 watt Magnum hybrid inverter, Sola Basic Autoformer, Microair Easy Start.

Sumo springs are a great alterative for motorhomes.
A pickup might have a rear axle that varies from say 3500lb (running empty) to upwards of 6-8k lb (pulling a 5er). The adjustability of an airbag system can be nice. With a motorhome, there is negligible variation in axle weight, so the fixed ability of sumo springs should work just as well. (that said, we did throw a set of sumos on our F250 and don't really notice them ridding empty but they take the squat out when pulling the 5er).

You posted this in the community feedback section which is for issues with the website. Hopefully the mods will move this to the correct section.

Thanks to "way2roll"s input I have moved this post to the Motorhome Group> Forum. Did not understand the taxonomy before.
