Started to look into some water damage in the kitchen of our 83 Pace Arrow. The more I looked, the more I found. I have some pics of the damage so far. Anyone interested in following a rebuild thread?

Here is a pic of the bottom of the roof, just above the wall. I had put some screws in there temporarily, so today I removed them and filled the holes from the top.

That also means that I need to update the spreadsheet.

I bought a cheap tarp, since I don't expect to have it up there very long. With a 20% discount, from Harbor Freight, I spend another $15.25.

Adding that to our prior total of $8405.44, and we have a new grand total of $8420.69.

I also picked up a new tarp from Harbor Freight this weekend. The old tarp was tearing apart after being in the sun for a year. So much for uv resistance with that tarp. Lol.

Since putting the bent steel up on the sides, I needed to remove some excess plywood that was hanging too far over the side. Finally got that done, on both sides.

I did, however, forget to take a pic of the drivers side. Here's the passenger side with the excess removed. There is still just a touch to remove, but that will have to wait until the final layer of roof plywood is installed.

Same here. We've owned our current MH over 12 years now, the Brite Tek roof still looks new. I'll also add in those 12 years its probably needed about 10 minutes worth of maintenance, total.

I'm a big fan of Brite Tek.

Thanks for the info. I'll check it out.

At least quote the whole thing.....

What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.

Then of course, if you get in a little bit of a hurry, apply a little too much pressure, and it splits the wood, while the adhesive is still untouched. Ugh. Lol.

I had about 20 feet of that to remove, not nearly all of which was "glued" together, but the parts that were, needed some tlc to get them to separate.

But hey, at least that's finally done, and I can move on. Wahoo!

I made the mistake of using a little too much ChemLink when adding this last piece of plywood. It squeezed out, and low and behold, it did a fine job of gluing the plywood fast to the wood that I was using to hold it down.

I used my thin putty knife to separate them. Yea, that took a little while. Not what I was expecting.
