Atwood Levelegs control board

Last fall I had a blown fuse on my converter. Had dealer diagnose and replace the fuse. Didn't try levelers until this past spring and the off on light wouldn't respond. Took my motorhome to the dealer and had to "perform a hard reset". They said the problem occurs when the battery goes dead which probably happened when my converter blew the fuse. I was told that my board is a revision #3 and that Atwood is now using revision #7. The "reset" cost $209 with no guarantee it wouldn't happen again. New board and labor would cost $540. Anyone with this problem or any info?

unable to lower individual jacks, only all button works. Suggestions?

You are responding to a post that's 11 years old. I suggest you post a new topic/question and include what RV you have and what type of leveling system and you will probably get more answers.

Thanks for comment Doug. As I mentioned, nothing would happen when I pressed the on/off button. Luckily the jacks weren't down. Wish I knew exactly what the technician did to remedy it. Being not too mechanically inclined, of course I was hoping for an easy fix. I wonder why a new control board was recommended by the shop. Any other ideas would be most helpful.

1. There is no reset for power loss on Atwood Electric levelegs
2. Losing power to the Atwood system will NOT cause any problem
3. I have NEVER heard or seen any control board other than the original models that Atwoods have always had
4. You may have a problem with your Atwood jacks, but it was not caused by your Converter issue. Below is the only reset and does NOT take 2 hours ($200). Doug
5. NO CURRENT ERROR MODE
โ€ข During any operation if no current is detected from leveler after
leveler is activated, the following occurs:
1. Warning alarm will sound.
2. Power is removed from the control box disabling normal
operations.
3. The red and green LEDโ€™s for that leveler will blink on and off
to indicate the system is in an error mode.
โ€ข To proceed,
1. Press โ€œONโ€. This will shut the warning alarm off.
2. Simultaneously hold down all four direction buttons and the
โ€œAllโ€ button. This resets the timers so controls will detect the
next clutch.
3. Press โ€œRETโ€ and โ€œALLโ€ buttons. The system is now out of
error mode and ready for normal operations.
If step 3 does not fix the problem, individual levelers can be
retracted by simultaneously pressing the โ€œRETโ€ button and the
adjacent two (2) leveler buttons common to the leveler requiring
retraction.
