Coolant Bleeder on Cat 3126

Getting ready to do coolant system clean and flush. Going to do thermostats, rad hoses, clean and refill with Final Charge Coolant. Been looking all over thermostat area for air bleeder for cooling system and I don't see one. I have a small hose that goes from thermostat housing back to overflow tank. Will this system automatically purge the air out or is there a bleeder and I'm just not finding it.

In addition to the one on the T-stat housing you may find additional small hoses from other high points on the engine/radiator. On mine there are at least four other points and when I did my coolant replacement, there was nothing to manually bleed. Good luck.

Yes, if there is a hose from top of thermostat housing to overflow tank, that will serve an the air bleed.

Works best if you fill slowly.
