Coolant leak

Just finished a trip to Florida and have had a hard time diagnosing a coolant leak (per previous posts). I found the leak. When I took the doghouse off (2015 Fleetwood Storm with Ford Triton V0 engine, I noticed fluid leaking from the end of the water jacket on the right side. Any thoughts.... My plan is to take it home to Massachusetts, filling when necessary, and bringing to a Ford repair facility near home who I trust. Warranty will take it from there. Smart move or Stupid move... Feel free to comment. Thanks McD

Sounds like you are talking about the intake which is on top of the block in between the cylinder heads. Likely the gasket, but some of the 4.6/5.4 intakes were known to crack. I think your intake is very similar.

Intake gasket and cracked intake will require removal and reinstall.

Take a pic and post it and we can help you diagnose it.

Check your oil, if it looks like chocolate milk you'very got big problems. Don't run if you have water in the oil.

Maybe It is not the water jacket. It is the assembly on top of the block looks like a plastic material. Leaking between that assembly and the block?

The leak appears, small bubble and wet, under the gasket between the water jacket assembly on top right at the last bolt holding it down, I put a socket on it and it did tighten but to no avail. I also tightened three others on same side, Still seeping.

The water jacket is the part of the block that holds the coolant. What do you been by the end? Where is the leak?

water jacket? are saying the radiator? if so find a repair shop in the area. this could be a easy job or a blow out on the way home. and double check its not a loose hose etc. seems to new a rv to have a major leak.

Three "gotchas" with a coolant leak: Running out of coolant and/or coolant in oil, or coolant on hot exhaust resulting in fire.

Not sure we can diagnose how serious it is/changes of a gotcha over the internet.
