Fleetwood bedroom slide alignment

New to the forum and have really learned a lot so far. I just picked up a new 2013 Fleetwood Jambore Sport 31M. After closer inspection, I noticed that the bedroom slide doesn't close completely on the side closest to the rear of the coach. There is about 1/4 inch gap between the seal and the outside wall. The side to the front does seal tight, so it is like it is crooked. The track for the slide is enclosed under the bed, so I can't see any exposed track when the slide is out. It is a single track, in the middle of the slide too. I checked where the motor and gear assembly are and there doesn't appear to be any adjustability there. Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the track so that it closes properly? The dealer I bought it at is almost two hours away, so if there is a relatively simple way to adjust, I would attempt myself.

Also, it doesn't appear to leak, as we just took our maden voyage with it, and it rained almost the entire five hour drive home.

Call Fleetwood and find out if they will pay a more local non-Fleetwood RV place to fix this and other factory mistakes. You can use another Fleetwood dealer's service if one is closer.

Perhaps you could find a closer repair shop that is authorized to do Fleetwood warranty work.

The slide controls are by PowerGear. It appears that adjustments are easy if there are two slide rails, but my bedroom slide only has a single slide. It appears to me that the only way to adjust that would be to physically move the mounting point of the rail and motor. I was hoping that there would be some adjustment points on the rail system as I can't imagine they would rely on absolute perfect installation placement to ensure proper slide movement.

I would prefer to take back to the dealer to fix, but given the long drive back up there, if it was a simple adjustment, I was hoping to just fix on my own. Given the cost of gas, it may just be cheaper for me to find a local shop to do it and the cost may break even.

If it's a Lippert slide (I think Fleetwood is), here is the manual.
Adjustment is on page 9.

But, it's brand new. Take it to the dealer and have them "deal" with it and any other "new rig" stuff that needs attention.
