Gulf Stream BT Cruiser model assistance

The above unit is for sale at Collier RV in Rockford IL, but I can't for the life of me figure out it's length. The dealer is saying the model is a 7231 which I can't find any specifications for that model number.

It looks to be something in the area of 28- 30' as it has three chesterfields. It's very low mileage, but there's no point to us driving there if it's too big. The motorhome we currently is class A that is 37' long and we definitely want something significantly smaller.

Thanks for the replies. We didn't buy the BT Cruiser as it was a consignment unit and no guarantee that if we paid the full price that the owner would discharge the lien on the vehicle. He owed more than his asking price. Too complicated for us to consider buying and at daylight, there was a huge dent in the side of it which the dealer tried to claim was common. He said it was due to swelling in the panels used in the BT Cruiser which are used in almost all RV's. (If the panels were swollen it was due to water, which isn't an easy fix!)

There wasn't a dent in the 2005 Winnebago Itasca Cambria 26a which we purchased and now have in our driveway. No problems with the export part of the buying of an RV from the United States and so far no complications with the Canadian side of the border. It's really gorgeous and we love it. The U-shaped dinette can easily seat six people. It had only 19,800 miles on the odometer.

Imagine we should thank about selling our custom 37' footer that we've used as a cottage for more than six years?

I'm pretty sure the Gulf Streams of that era are:

4xxx = Vista Mini Cruiser (Sprinter Based)
5xxx = BT Cruiser B+ (actually a narrower C without a top bunk)
6xxx = Class C and super C

and as stated above by ronfisherman, the center two numbers are approx length, so ours is a 6211 and is a Class C about 21ft long ... that one advertised is most likely a 5271

Here's a 5270 (said to be 28.5ft)

Here's a 5271 (said to be 28.5ft)

Here's a 5291 (said to be 30ft)

and here are a bunch more 5271's

I think the number may be 2731 not 7231.

The center 2 numbers of a Gulf Steam model # is usually the length of MH within a foot. Have not seen any BT Cruiser with a 7000 model number. But they did some funny stuff over the years with numbers.

JC435:

Does your unit have a model #? Can't figure out why I can't find specifications/brochures for 7231's and the gentlemen in the video never mentions its length and there's no listing for it by the dealer. Really odd!

It appears to be about the same length as our BT Cruiser, which is 28.5 ft. long. From the video, it looks like a nice unit.
