LOUD squeaky access door.

Access door squeaks quite loudly. As an experiment I crammed a thick wad of newspaper near the latch and that seemed to eliminate the problem.

Now I want to place some foam rubber around the door, maybe in several places. Has anyone advice or experience creating the quiet here?

Where are the best places?

The coach access door squeaked bad, the previous owner tried to put a little piece of foam at the latch, well you have to close the door a little harder now.
BUT I found the culprit that was causing the most squeak, it was the little rubber stoppers on the screen door rubbing against the door , every bump or turn it would flex and squeak loud.
I took some rubber seal lube and lubed the rubber stops, cleaned the area where the rubber stops made contact against the door then added a coat of regular automotive wax to the areas where they made contact with the door.
Problem solved.
