Hi All,
I have a 2005 Holiday Rambler with an aluminum roof. We are planning on heading out in Feb but I need will need to clean the snow off the roof first. I want to get on the roof with a plastic shovel an clean the snow off as opposed to using a ladder and raking it of. Question is is the roof okay to get up and walk around on?

Thanks.

Just be very careful. RV roofs are VERY slippery with snow on them. I almost fell off mine once cleaning the snow off. I would try using a broom with a ladder standing next to the rv to get as much as you can first.

Yes in general. But I found that the roof was unbelievably slick if the snow had melted a little. We lived in ours so there was some heat coming through the roof from below. You may not have that issue.
