rear window molding 2002 Dutchman

There is 6 inch break in the bottom molding that goes against the glass. Is that normal? It doesn't look cut or broken.

Mine shrunk, but not that bad, I had about a 1 inch gap, I pulled it back together & super glued it, then it re-shrunk, pulling it out of the corners, then I put it back in place & just filled the gap with black RTV, as mentioned.

Yup, it is shrinkage. We have had some luck filling the space with black rtv . It is a seasonal thing, especially after a cold winter. You will need to redo it frim time to time. Just be sure that it is still in the channel, usually can be snapped back in with fingers.
