restoring 1987 holaday Rambler

I have purchased a 1987 Motor home and am fixing it up as money is available. I have replaced the passenger side brake line and caliper and now have three wheels that lock up when you stomp on the breaks. This is much better then the one or two that were working on the harrowing drive home after the purchase.
The air pumps are being removed at this time as the driver side one is locked up. The passenger side one seems to be working, but there is a hole in the part mounted on the header that is causing a little ticking sound. The header parts will be welded up at a later date when I can bribe my people with a appropriate reward.
I have changed the passenger side spark plugs, the old ones had a gap of around 80 to 85 thousand when I took them out. They did have a nice tan color. The driver side plugs will be replaced next, along with the cap and rotor.
The front air bags are holding pressure, and the front suspension has been greased with new grease. It has some sort of stabilizer made from mounting two large springs on the front and rear of the lower control arm.
I will be asking some ???? when I get to the parts I don't under stand.

I painted the 4 sides of the refer vent as it was just galvanized metal and some of it had rusted. I sanded the rust and goo off the sides first. This is what one side looked like. To lazy to take three more shoots , but you get the idea.

Here is a after shot. Lets see how this holds up to the weather here near Mortimer world. I have painted some other small areas, and the product seems to be sticking, and still looks ok after about two mounths of the Fl winter. The temps have been a low of about tewnty nine, and a high of around eighty something

After using the grinder to round of the edges, and a fine tooth file smoothed out the pieces, you get four ready to paint mounts.

Cut a couple of times, and you get three of the needed mounts in a rough form. and some spare parts. And a really dirty sink.

After a cut ya have to cool the metal off or burn your hand.

Now, back to making some mounts, so I don't have to screw into the roof to mount the vent cover I posted some pictures of on page 59. I used some more of the Vex Robotics metal to solve my needs. It all started with a peace I had made before and holding it to the supplied vent mount.
