Any info on route 54 from Wichita to I40 in New Mexico. Trying to bypass Colorado Springs heading East. Thanks McD

Took 54 in July from Wichita and found it one of the better roads of that trip from MI to AZ

Yes I described it west because I couldn't remember the name of the town on 40. Just trying to get home to Massachusetts faster. Been in Colorado Springs before. Thanks for the help McD

Isn't Wichita to New Mexico WEST?? I have driven that road, it is a good route.

I'm curious why you want to avoid Colorado Springs. Is their traffic that bad?
