Slide adjustment question

Hi,

I am relatively new to rving. I got a 2008 Holiday Rambler Vacationer XL 34' diesel a year ago. I discovered that in the front corner of the roadside (kitchen/lr) slide there was water damage. The topper was torn, and that along with outer seals that looked aged made me think that replacing those might fix my problem, so I did that last year. So far so good, but it stays closed and under cover much of the year (I work full time but drive it regularly and go camping basically every month) so perhaps it just hasn't had enough rain to test that. I removed the wood in the corner that was rotten, put adhesive and did a half baked job of repairing it. Structurally I think it will work until I get money or (more likely) time to figure out how to take a slide apart and put a whole new floor in it. We aren't dancing in it and don't weigh too much regardless.

Anyway, while I removed rotten wood, the remain wood on the coach side of the slide expanded a bit due to the moisture. It is compressing the carpet when the slide is retracted so I thought if I could raise the slide up by 1/4 or even 1/8" it would help that problem.

How do I adjust the slide out? There are guide wires at the top and bottom of each side of the slide out.
