Strange problem with awning

On my 06 Phaeton a very strange problem has arisen. When I try to open the auto patio awning, I only hear a buzz............until I go to the fuse located under the driver's outside bin. I pull the 20 amp fuse, replace it and the awning will work for one time only. Then it only buzzes and does not open.

Sound more like a loose wire connection AT the fuse, and when removing and replacing it you move it just enough for contact for a 1 time use, then it vibrates lose again.

Is the fuse still good or blown, when replacing it?

check for an obstruction in awning arms or for a short/loose wire touching metal
