Update on new Winnebago Suncruiser 38Q

Have had it since Monday. Love the ride. Feels very comfortable and very little sway and drove in some wind. I will still add Tiger trac bar to rear and Roadmaster steering stabilizer to the front just because it makes it better. First auto leveling that actually works. On all my others they got me too high. The new slides seem very good. The large slide that levels to floor is smooth and quiet. On my 35 G it was very rough. Always worked but when it went to level it jerked and then settled in. The new Schwintek motors are a bit loud but powerful and the slides go in and out well. The new factory installed Winegard Directv dish is not working. It appears I am having trouble with the power inserter as the DVR is not receiving the SWM. I have attempted to fix it myself but have been unsuccessful. My guess something is unplugged behind the panel. The power inserter is plugged in and the dish auto control shows all three satellites located. I will let he dealer figure it out. Overall it is everything I hoped for and a bit more.

Those who have read my posts know I have searched for a better ride in my smaller Winnebago coaches and installed Kelderman air ride on two and Morryde system on on one. Koni shocks have been a part of my mods. I always wondered if more weight would make leaf springs work better. Now I know. Yes is the answer. My natural tendency to tinker may have me adding Sumor springs at some point but not now. I will add centramatics as I am persuaded they are a good idea. We got the Black Walnut exterior and the dark java cabinets and trim interior. Love the look. Won't have big test until after xmas.

I forgot to mention the six speed tranny. Love it. Much smoother. Better shift points.
