A friend mine just bought a used Born Free. On the drivers side there are 2 fittings that I don't know what are. And in the bumper there is a small, maybe 1.5" round recessed and covered area with 4 other fittings in it.
What are these?

Even 2 seconds of air may burst the air bags. Until you know, GO SLOW!

By the way, the supplemental air springs don't hold a whole lot of air. A spurt of a couple seconds will bring them up to pressure, and a few taps with a tire gauge or whatever will bring them down if needed.

Keep hold of those nice metal valve stem caps on them; the notched pointy end is a valve core remover/installer/tightener, and rather handy to have when you need one.

Yes standard air conn. Start out with about 50psi. Than adjust for ride and handling.

Thanks! Do those air fittings take just a regular schrader fitting?

1. is a 4 pin trailer plug and 2. is valve stems for air bags on the suspension.
