My home freezer is almost empty after pulling all the make ahead goodies out for my 3 week kiddo trip and it's now time to restock it.

Fortunately, one of my fav local markets is having sales galore:

Wish the store had butter on sale and then I could happily butter poach the lobster meat before freezing but que sera, sera.

Gotten eating fussy so I'll wait for the lamb T-bone chops to go on sale even though they wont be 2.99/lb

Will definitely buy pounds and lbs of the chicky thighs.

Will try to wait for the Porterhouse or ribeye steaks to go on sale in the coming weeks and not cry on missing the NY strip steaks.

Since it's stone fruit season I'll try to buy the goodies a bit more locally.

Hope anyone "vac"ing or shopping nearby can take advantage:).

I wish the town of Orange Ct. would have let him build one on the property that he purchased years ago. They fought him for years and he finally gave up.

Despite being "empty nesters", Stew's inspired me to buy a stand alone freezer and thus opened the floodgates to a whole new way of cooking for me. Haven't found a way to incorporate the Norwalk locale to my travel plans but the Yonkers store has stood me well to date.
Orange doesn't know what it's missing!
