Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a DEEP #4 (2 qt) camp dutch oven? Mine is only 2.5"-3"...I could use a tad more depth.

Tried online. No luck.

I'll bet it doesn't exist and I will have to adapt...:B

Yeah, my little one is only 2-quarts. I figure a deep would add maybe 2-3 more cups? Plus, this one isn't a "camp" DO.

I will adapt to my circumstances.

Aussies don't call their ovens Dutch ovens, but Camp ovens.

Search Ebay for Australia and be prepared to pay postage or try to connect with an Aussie coming this way.

You don't want an oven made in a traditional Asian community, rather than a historical oven. Traditional Aussie camp ovens are all deep.

And start lurking over here: http://www.aussiecampovenforum.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl There is a good section on camp oven history.
