Hi all,
Last October I bought a used 92 Layton 30'travel trailer from the original owner. Over the winter I did the brakes, wheel bearings , tires and rims. We gave it a good cleaning inside and out and she was ready for some fun. This last week we spent 4 days at the Salisbury beach State reseveration which is only 30 min from home and my kids LOVED it . I was a little scared buying the camper not knowing if the kids would like it or not, but Im so glad I did. I did a lot of camping as a kid with friends and rememeber how much fun it was. Well before we left the kids were already wanting to do it again. I planned 2 trips to OOB in august and October and 1 more at the salisbury reservation. Im so glad I found this site because Ive learned a lot things here. I'll post some pics soon. Peter

Welcome, & glad you (& the kids) had a great Time, Bobbo is correct, they will never forget the memories, at 67, I have memories of camping a long time ago, & while I do it differently now, I still can't wait for the next time to go.

Welcome to the forum, and RVing in general. You are making memories for those kids that will last a lifetime.

This spring, we took our rig to VA, about 2 hours from where our daughter and grandkids live. She met us there with the little ones. After it was over, she commented on how it brought back so many fun memories. All the while giving hers some new memories.
