Dipping our toes into snow bird with TT -Saga Continues

We have settled on Anchors Aweigh, and thanks to all who suggested. Folks there (Foley, Ala) were friendly and competent and we have a space. We are narrowing down our travel trailer search. We are doing a bunkhouse configuration. This TT will be delivered to Anchors Aweigh, set up before we arrive early Jan, and then stored at Anchors Aweigh.... so it will not have road time. So now my question- should we focus on fiberglas? "stick and alumninum" (salesman lingo I think...?) Does it matter much??
Have begun a comparison spreadsheet, and am wondering how heavily this one item should weigh in our decision.
We are super excited to spend our first winter AWAY from snow!:C
Thanks for all the great advice I've found searching the forums- this is a WONDERFUL site for newbies like us!

Thanks for feedback- We are not considering a park model because our budget is 25,000. Will also want to be able to move to different campgrounds/resort if we find we don't fit well at Anchors Aweigh (I'm guessing it will be fine!) So, we are doing a 'cheaper' version of a destination trailer. Looks like we may settle on a 3-slideout Cherokee, which is a 304BH- with some options added in. Went and saw one in person yesterday. It was a reality check for hubby, but I think we are ready. Doing some more research today, by searhing the forums.
Wish me luck!:)

I think if I were going to leave the trailer at one place all the time and not move it around I would look for a park model trailer something like the Cedar Creek Cottage. This model makes a great stationary living area but also can be towed if necessary by a 3500 (350) or larger series truck.

North wood. Nash, Arctic Fox, etc.

Northwood makes a good product.

This site is well worth the cost. It will give you a real good feel for the quality of different brands. There is a whole lot more junk than quality out there. You need some way to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Enjoy your winters. Bring your coat. It does get chilly in the winter in AL.
