windsheild curtains versus windsheild shades

The curtains in our motorhome were soiled so I washed them and they
fell apart. I need to replace them, but I am wondering if any of
you RVers have the new shades. I do not want the electric ones, just
the ones that pull down like a regular shade. Our motorhome is
a 2003 and we have the TV up front in the middle with storage on
one side and VCR, satellite etc on the other side. If anyone has the
same setup like mine and have the shades, PLEASE let me know what
you think of them.

These two often get good reviews here.

mcd is the way to go, we just bought a new winnebago with the dual elec ones on the windshield, and they can be lowered to act as a sunscreen while driving.

We updated to MCD shades this past January and we absolutely love them. We did go for the electric shade on the windshield. I actually don't know of anyone who has an MCD manual shade on the windshield.

My curtain is still intact but I don't use it. I bought 4 of those big springy window shade things that were designed for RV's and I use those because they are just easier and they have a reflective backing so they keep the front end a little cooler.

I upgraded to MCD shades a couple of years ago and VERY happy with them, but I did get power shade in the windshield. See my report here.
