2007 Jeep Liberty + ready brake

Getting ready to install the readybrake system on my 2007 Liberty. Thought I would post on here to see if anyone who has already done this can share pointers learned from their install.

Any problems going through fire wall (location/double wall issues) or routing suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

No problems on my install. However, as where you come through the firewall (at least on my Liberty) was awfully close to the brake lines, I would suggest using a drill stop collar:

so when you punch through the firewall, you dont punch through the brake lines.

Also have a spotter. It will make your job easier.

Also, like cpd520, I had to go a little off center to find a spot to get through

you are going to love it we tow an 06 with our 30ft class c and no problems at all (if you happen to have a brake control in the jeep unplug it when setting up tow as it will get a feedback loop set up and your turn signals will apply the brakes found this out when ours was installed so we just unplug it and all works great) rayg

All done. Pretty straight forward install.

Just FYI for anyone doing this install - I had to go an inch or so to the right of directly behind the brake pedal arm to find a clear area. Other than that there were no issues.
