2019 JL wrangler 2 door

Anyone set one up for towing yet. My Jeep is on order and will arrive mid May. My concern is the wiring for the taillights. Haven't found a harness yet that plugs in, the only one so far requires splicing. Splicing into a brand new vehicle makes me itchy.

I don't know how you would place an extra bulb in a LED assembly that does not have room for it.
2019 will have LED assemblies for tail lights.

Get a boat trailer wiring KIT, it will have all you need to make a wire harness. Run the 4 pin tape thru the Jeep to the tail gate, place a 4 pin plug on that end where you can plug in your extra 2 lights.
I made a small bracket that clips over the top edge of our gate one each side to carry the lights.
Your jeep will not be cut/ altered in any way.
use a 7 pin to 4 pin adaptor on your motorhome, PLUG and simply plug your jeep harness in to it.

No more fiddling with charge wires, diodes, batteries, bulbs or any thing. just plug and go.

I'll built the harness if you like,,, PM me for phone and e-mail.

Thanks for the offer. Yes, it will have led lighting, itโ€™s actually an option or comes with it since I ordered the Jeep with steel bumpers. I forgot about that part. I can handle the wiring part, did a few before.

don't splice...run a second, independent wiring harness and install two extra bulbs in the taillight assembly. EZ-PZ.

Thatโ€™s how I wired my 08 Jk. Sounds like another afternoon project.

WE have a JK wrangler but I got so tired of bad connection, blown diodes, that I finally purchased a boat trailer wiring kit and built a tow harness with two LED lights from NAPA.
It simply clips into the tail gate opening, and had nothing to do with the Jeeps harness. No more disconnecting the battery, just turn the key to unlock the steering and go.

I just went through that for a 2019 JL. No plug in is available yet. You will have to splice.

We just picked up a 2000 Wrangler to do the same.

Contact eTrailer ... they seem to have the goods and the Tech folks to know what you need. I'd expect they are working on 2019 Jeep stuff now....and again, have great tech support before and after you buy.

**I only endorse eTrailer as I've used them in the past ... I don't get kickbacks!
